Stephen Weinstein

Stephen H. Weinstein serves as RenaissanceRe’s chief legal officer, with responsibility for legal, regulatory, government affairs and compliance matters on a global basis. Mr. Weinstein joined the RenaissanceRe team as General Counsel and Secretary in 2002 from Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP, a leading international law firm. Mr. Weinstein was Vice President until 2005, becoming Chief Compliance Officer in 2004, then was made Senior Vice President in August 2005. He has been a member of RenaissanceRe’s Executive Committee since March 2006, and serves on other companywide leadership and management committees.

Mr. Weinstein, a frequent speaker on legal, regulatory and mitigation-related matters, serves on several trade, industry and not-for-profit boards of directors.
