As Palo Alto native, Hutch has been active in the Silicon Valley tech ecosystem helping startups with business development and growth, corporates with innovation strategies and partnerships, and VCs find investment opportunities. Hutch has been part of the founding team at Plug and Play Insurtech, currently the worlds largest Insurance innovation platform where he leads corporate partnerships. He specializes in helping industry-leading reinsurers, carriers and brokers identify and partner with startups reinventing the insurance value chain.

Plug and Play Insurtech launched in May 2016 and in less than a year became the largest vertical at PnP. In our first year, we accelerated over 50 startups in partnership with more than 30 corporate partners and became the biggest Insurtech platform in the world. We plan on investing in 20 startups a year to catalyze innovation and revolutionize the insurance industry.
